What to do before arriving at CSEPS, Israel?

Traveling to Israel may require that you obtain a visa, although Israel has visa exemption agreements with many countries for visits of up to 90 days. To make sure whether or not you are requried to do so, please check Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs' website.

Currency:

The New Israeli Shekel (NIS) is the official currency in israel. Foreign money may be brought into Israel as cash, travelers’ checks, credit cards. Foreign currency of all kinds may be exchanged at the airport, banks, post offices, most hotels or licensed exchange agencies in most cities. 

climate:

Be'er Sheva city is located at the Negev, which is the southern desert area of the country. That gives the city the characteristics of a typical desert city, being very hot and arid in the summer (as high as +35C in July-August). Nevertheless, the Mediterranean climate characteristics are also significant in the area, making Be'er Sheva cold and usually rainy in the winter (as low as 8C in December-January) though snow is rare.
